Simon Whitney: Independent Financial Adviser MLIA (Dip) Principal

Simon began his career in the investment industry in the mid 1980’s gradually building up a wealth of knowledge on all financial matters, and in 1991
he joined a well-known local Independent Financial Advisory firm where he spent over two years advising clients from all walks of life.
In 1994 Simon joined the Hereford Mortgage and Investment Bureau as an Investment Consultant and for the next six years advised both
personal and corporate clients including several lottery winners. From 2000 to the present day Simon has been Principal of Montpellier Asset Management,
increasing the firm’s portfolio of clients to well over 500, these clients  all have varying financial needs ranging from straight-forward life protection to
more complex offshore tax and trust arrangements.


Danny Callaghan: Independent Financial Adviser (Cert PFS)
 
Danny having joined Montpellier in October 2008 is head of our Corporate advice team and has over 25 years experience in the financial services sector. Danny has previously held several senior positions with Zurich Financial Services throughout the last 17 years and from 2002 to 2008 was UK Sales Director for Zurich Life overseeing an operation that delivered sales in excess of £3 Billion on an annualised basis. Danny was a main Board Director of the Zurich Intermediary Group in the UK and was a regular speaker at key industry events and conferences. Danny’s experience and background will be invaluable in advising clients in all aspects of corporate and individual financial planning.

Diane Pettitt: Office Manager (Dip PFS)
 
Diane has over 20 years experience in financial services, having worked for many financial institutions including Clerical Medical and several well established IFA practices in the Midlands area. Diane has previously held various roles, ranging from administrator and technical paraplanner to senior sales consultant and Independent Financial Adviser and this career path has given Diane expertise in all areas of financial services but with particular strengths in the pensions and protection markets. Diane joined Montpellier in February 2009 and will provide administrative support for Simon and Danny to maintain and develop client relationships and enhance our service proposition.

Samantha Seaton: Office Administrator

Samantha Seaton has joined as Office Administrator and comes with 25 years experience from a finance background and will be a valuable asset to Montpellier. Within her new role, Samantha will be able to build upon Montpellier’s reputation through her wealth of experience gained from working in similar roles within the financial services industry.
